Servicio Fillipino, Inc. has been awarded in 2015 the Tripartite Certificate of Compliance with Labor Standards by the Department of Labor and Employment, led by its Regional Director, Alex V. Avila.
The certification makes SFI compliant with general labor standards and occupational safety and health standards of the Tripartite Certification Committee. It also exempts SFI from the joint assessment under the Labor Laws Compliance System for a period of three years and is entitled to qualify for the Secretary’s Award and Tripartite Seal of Compliance. SFI could also receive the Child Labor-Free Establishment recognition; have priority access to technical assistance and services of DOLE and its attached agencies; and entitlement to use the TCCLS in its promotional activities and advertisements.
SFI is the second TCCLS recipient in 2015 after Temps and Staffers, Inc., its sister company.
SFI was represented by Ms. Gina Nicodemus, HRAD-Employee Relations Supervisor II and accompanied by SFI’s Bids and Contracts Officer Bessie S. Tacas and Payroll and Billing Supervisor Ma. Teresa M. General.
